摘要
The magnetic gain switch is a promising pulse method to be applied in the repetitive pulsed chemical oxygen iodine laser (COIL). A new form of solid-state pulsed magnetic field system was proposed to construct a magnetic gain switch in this paper. The pulse magnet, pulse producing circuit, and control circuit are the three components of the system. Considering the actual application, the pulse magnet adopts an open structure with two symmetrical parts, and each part is composed of a coil and a permanent magnet. The pulse forming circuit topology is optimized for a specific load based on the pulse forming network (PFN), and an energy recovery circuit is also added to improve the repetitive frequency. Using the proposed solid-state pulsed magnetic field system, a 320 Hz rectangular magnetic field with a high field of not less than 405 gauss and a low field within ± 10 gauss is generated in an area of 50*50*25 mm3, and the rising and falling edges of the pulse are both 1.5 μs.
