Multi-scale heterogeneity research on the high-steep outcrop area of carbonate rock is more difficult. An integrated traditional outcrops exploration and UAV oblique photography technology for fields of multiple scales of Lichuan in the western part of Hubei, processing and detailed geological interpretation. With the three-dimensional digital data, the heterogeneity of reef sedimentological and sequence stratigraphic analysis of carbonate platform, and the threedimensional modeling of significant outcrops provides an improved understanding of the distribution characteristics of the reservoir. (1)The data model of the UAV oblique image acquisition processing in the high-steep field outcrop area of the Jiantianba carbonate rock has three-dimensional coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude) corresponding to the image information,which can accurately locate and measure the geological scale. According to the collected data information, three models are established. (2) Sedimentary facies from large scale shows that open platform, limited platform, reef and carbonate slope facies are developed from west to east. In mesoscale, reef base, biohump, reef core and reef top are fully developed. Among them, the reef base is dominated by thin lamellar limestone with a thickness of about 20cm and a total thickness of 60m. Biohummocks are characterized by multi-layered irregular hummocks, with a single layer about 30cm thick and a total thickness of 45m. The reef core is irregular raised massive uplift with a thickness of 80~120m. The reef roof is massive grain dolomite with a thickness of about 20m. Under the influence of sea level rise and fall, the small-scale reef core consist offive sedimentary cycles, and the biological assemblages and lithology of cycles are different obviously . (3)The distribution of reservoir is influenced by sea-level change and diagenetic process later. In the dolomite with intergranular pores and dissolved pores on reef top, the developed grain dolomite on reef top is the high quality reservoirs, followed by the reef core skeleton reef limestone with cavities and dissolved pores on biological body, and the algal bonded reef limestone with bonded lattice pores, dissolved pores and recrystallized intergranular pores on reef top is poor quality in physical properties.
