In this paper, nano-cone nickel layer was prepared on flexible substrate by galvanostatic deposition. The effect of current density and the main salt concentration on the morphology of nano-cone nickel were investigated. The experimental results show that high current density and low the main salt concentration are not conducive to the formation of nano-cone nickel. Then, the nano-cone nickel with a diameter of 200 nm was synthesized which is distributes uniformly and the morphology and crystal of nano-cone nickel were verified by XRD and SEM. The growth mechanism of nano-cone nickel was further studied. The excellent wettability of nano-cone nickel was studied by contact Angle test, which indicated that the nano-cone nickel had excellent hydrophilicity. In addition, solid state UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectrum shows that nano-cone nickel has good light absorption effect and it can be used in flexible electron light absorption materials.
