The external conditions in which the JSW Group currently operates enforce the need to adapt the Strategy to changes, especially changes within the so-called EU climate goals. The paper presents the JSW Group as a leading producer of a semi-finished product for steel production in the EU in terms of the activities carried out and undertaken to counteract climate change. These activities were grouped in several key areas, such as: maximizing the use of the captured methane for the production of electricity and heat, searching for low-emission technological solutions, the use of photovoltaics, increasing the efficiency of processes by reducing their energy consumption or implementing the TCFD guidelines for climate change reporting.
