The study scrutinized class reality by examining three variables—classroom activities, classroom anxiety and teacher roles with three quantitative instruments, the CAI that measured the kinds of classroom activities and the frequencies of their use; the adapted FLCAS that evaluated classroom anxiety of learners and the STRI that examined the roles of their teacher.
