The capacity of ecosystem is an important indicator to scale the sustainability in an area, especially significant in cold region in Northeast China where provides food productive function and ecological function. Taking township as accounting modular and net primary productivity as core criteria, this paper studied measurement and spatial differentiation of ecosystem capacity in 12 consecutive months, compared temporal and spatial differentiation and characteristic in inter-annual, seasonal and monthly period, analyzed correlation with temperature, rainfall, land use and other drive forces. The results showed that: the variation of ecosystem capacity in cold region is significant with climate changes; the variation of ecosystem capacity has positive correlation with temperature decreasing and precipitation increasing; the variation of ecosystem capacity in four seasons has spatial uniform with the variation of vegetation coverage pattern.
