Evolution Analysis of Historic Urban Landscape Elements Based on Genetic Algorithms: A Case Study of Changting, Fujian Province

In this study, Historic Urban Landscape of Changting Ancient City was taken as the main object of study. Referring to the related concepts of biological gene map, the authors tried to extract and simulate landscape genes in the process of urban development, and discussed their evolution process. Then, genetic algorithm was used as the main calculation method to simulate and predict the landscape base. In view of the development, the author hopes to give some suggestions for the protection of historical cities and the renewal and transformation of cities.
