Evaluation and Analysis of Resources and Environment Carrying Capacity Based on Remote Sensing Technology:A Case Study of Xiamen

As a basis of ecological civilization construction and national land space optimization, the resources and environment carrying capacity had become a research hotspot in the field of urban planning. Current re-search mostly used statistical data within administrative divisions as data sources, and the considerations of dynamic and systematic of urban eco-systems were still relatively lacking. By introducing PSR model frame-work, this paper scientifically selected elements which could be obtained through remote sensing images as comprehensive evaluation indicators, and used the entropy weight method to determine the weight of each in-dicator. This paper analyzed the spatial distribution differences and influ-ence factors of the carrying capacity of resources and environment. The spatial and temporal evolution analysis was carried out to explore the car-rying capacity of resources and environment accompanied by the urban development of Xiamen in recent years. Results indicated that there were significant differences in spatial distribution of resources and environ-ment carrying capacity in Xiamen. Different development strategies must be devised for different regions.
