How Artificial Intelligence Makes Home Smart: Review on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Smart Home

Smart home and artificial intelligence technologies are developing rapidly, and various of smart home products are associated with artificial intelligence to improve the ability. Although there are some researches discussed the application of artificial intelligence in smart home, few publications fully consider the integration of literature and products. In this paper, we aim to find out the application status of artificial intelligence in smart home product and how it is utilized in our house so that we can understand how artificial intelligence makes home smart. Literature review and product review were conducted to define the functions of artificial intelligence in smart home and smart home products installed and placement location in house. Furthermore, our results suggest the relation between artificial intelligence and smart home.
