Water environment carrying capacity is a useful theory to support for sustainable development. However, the exact water quality status and detailed space-time measure to improve local water environment carrying capacity could not be realized along with social-economic development in current research. This paper established an integrated model with combination of System Dynamics model, Cell Automaton model and Multi-agent systems to exploit their potential to reveal regions’ water environment carrying capacity status along with urban evolution, and provide effective measures for WECC improvement. This integrated model realized spatial temporal simulation of urban evolution, identified main spatial units with worse water environment status, and reveal main contribution pollution sources for monitoring section of different spatial units through pollution sources structure analysis.
