Abstract: Changsha City is a typical hot summer and cold winter area. The urban ventilation problem and heat island effect are more serious in the old city. In view of the wind and heat environment in the old city of Changsha, the old town of Pozi Street with high building density and high population density in Changsha City was selected as an example. The phoenics software and Moran's I technology were used to plan the old city planning indicators such as building density and height. The spatial correlation analysis between the factors such as spacing and the wind environment is carried out to study the influence mechanism between the two, and the empirical evidence is used to compare and verify the relevant planning indicators of wind environment impact. Based on the above research, scientific guidance will be given to the subsequent urban planning and construction to avoid the intensification of urban wind environment problems, especially the intensive old town reconstruction in the city, which has strong practical significance.
