Construction and Exploration of " Public planning Wuhan" Platform

Traditional urban planning is usually limited to government departments and planning experts, and the public seldom participates in decision-making. Urban planning can only be understood by the public after it has been officially approved and publicized. In order to make urban planning reflect public expectations, innovate the Technical Method and Work Mode of Urban Planning, Improve the Science and Openness of Urban Planning, Wuhan Natural Resources and Planning Bureau has carried out the work of construction of "Public planning Wuhan" platform since January 2015. This paper takes the "Public planning Wuhan" platform as an example,focuses on the innovation of technological means , as well as working mechanism of public participation in urban planning.
