The paper discusses the relationship between polycentric spatial structure and Jobs-housing matching and its influencing mechanism from the perspective of TAZ unit in the urbanized area of Hangzhou in China by using the place of employment and residence identified from cellphone signaling data. Firstly, 42 employment centers are identified by the method of the threshold value of employment density and employment to residence ratio. Then the paper uses Jobs-housing matching rate index to discuss the matching characteristics of employment centers. It is found that under the polycentric spatial structure, there are still a few employment centers with serious jobs-housing mismatch. Factors such as the type of industry, urban renewal mode, spatial location, functional mixing degree, traffic and natural barriers are important factors affecting the matching relationships. The polycentric spatial structure may not guarantee the Jobs-housing matching of all the employment centers, but it can promote the Jobs-housing matching in the whole city.
