The RIKEN Bioresource Research Center (RIKEN BRC) participates in the National BioResource Project (NBRP) funded by the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED). The Experimental Plant Division of RIKEN BRC collects, maintains and provides the various bioresources, such as the Arabidopsis thaliana wild-type seeds, insertional mutant seeds, full-length cDNA clones and various plant cell lines.
The information of our bioresources is stored in the database, Exp-Catalog. For example, the catalog provides the collection sites, phenotypic information and photo images of natural accessions. The insertion sites of Ac/Ds mutants are displayed as a diagram on the simplified genomic browser to improve the visibility. The information of plant cell lines includes both maintenance protocols and their features.
For user’s convenience, we have added the window to search entire resources in the catalog. We are trying to improve the usability of catalog by accumulating new resource data as well as revising the interface in the web browser. You can access our catalog through our web page or just visit the web address, https://plant.rtc.riken.jp/resource.
