新出台的中国英语能力等级量表包含口译量表,其中的口译能力自我评价量表为相关专业学生提供了一个进行口译能力自评的工具。通过对比阅读,研究者发现口译自评量表和口译量表描述语库中对于同一等级的同一典型特征的描述有所不同。因此,口译自评量表从内容上而言能否测量出口译能力仍需进一步验证。基于上述问题,本研究采用专家判断、内容分析和对比分析等方法,从内容相关性和内容代表性两个方面验证口译自评量表的内容效度。口译自评量表的内容效度验证为其使用和进一步效验工作提供效度证据,有助于量表的修订和完善;口译自评量表的推广和应用能够帮助学生在学习过程中进行自我评估和自我调整。

During interpreting learning, Chinese students mostly assess their interpreting output with referential written translations, leading to limited understanding of their overall interpreting competence. The publication of the China’s Standards of English (CSE) provides students with a convenient tool to evaluate interpreting competence – the Interpreting Self-Assessment Scale (ISS), a subscale of the Interpreting Scale. However, description mismatch is discovered in the descriptors concerning the same typical characteristic at the same level between the ISS and other parts of the Interpreting Scale. Therefore, whether the content of the ISS can measure interpreting competence requires further validation. Based on the above-mentioned problems, this research aims to conduct content validation of the ISS from the perspective of content relevance and content representativeness. And expert judgement, content analysis and contrastive analysis are adopted in this research. The content validation of the ISS provides validity evidence for its use and further validation of the ISS. After the descriptors judged by experts and analyzed by the researcher, suggestions will be offered for the scale improvement. Ultimately, the promotion and application of the ISS will assist students in self-assessment and self-adjustment during the learning process.
