In the past, substation construction faced many challenges such as various types of equipment, long equipment ordering period, poor universality of spare parts, repetitive design work, high cost of equipment manufacturing, and difficult operation and maintenance, which seriously restricted the progress of construction and the safe and stable operation of the grid. Since 2006, in order to improve the quality of power grid development, transform the development mode of power grids, promote standardization construction, improve the construction and management efficiency of power grid projects, the State Grid Corporation has organized the research and compilation of general equipment for power transmission and transformation projects. The research objects include 14 main electrical primary equipment such as transformers, high-voltage shunt reactors, gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear, circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, current transformers, voltage transformers, capacitors, low-voltage shunt reactors, lightning arresters, switchgear, station transformers, arc suppression coil and station transformer complete set, which have great influence on technical level, layout and cost in 35kV~750kV substations.
In this paper, the application demand of primary equipment in substations of various regional power companies within the State Grid Corporation and the production and manufacturing situation of each equipment manufacturer will be investigated extensively. According to national standards, power industry standards, relevant anti-accident measures and management regulations of the State Grid Corporation, based on the principles of safety, reliability, advanced technology, universal interchange, standardization, cost control, independent innovation, environmental protection, efficiency, and cost reduction, this paper deeply studies the structural characteristics and interface characteristics of various equipments, through comprehensive comparison, coordination and unification, the "four unified" requirements are proposed such as unified technical parameters, unified electrical interface, unified secondary interface, and unified civil construction interface, to maximize the universal exchange of similar equipment under the same operating conditions, improve the quality and efficiency of engineering construction.
Based on the construction and operation experience of the power grid for many years, and following the requirements of the State Grid Corporation for the equipment performance parameters and the regulations of relevant industries and national standards, this paper puts forward the general equipment parameters requirements suitable for the substations of the State Grid Corporation, and proposes the principle of primary equipment selection for 35-750kV substation, Integrate advanced technologies in the power industry and equipment manufacturing industry, and propose unified electrical interfaces, secondary interfaces and civil interfaces. For power grid users, on the one hand, general equipment reduces dependence on equipment manufacturers by standardizing installation requirements and installation sizes. Reducing the number of spare parts and improving the versatility of the equipment is conducive to the construction of the material reserve warehouse. Standardize equipment parameters, reduce equipment types, and facilitate large-scale bidding and procurement; On the other hand, general equipment unifies the design concept and principle of power transmission and transformation project of State Grid Corporation, unifies the construction standard, unifies the equipment specification, speeds up the construction progress, displays the scale superiority, reduces the company's power grid construction and operation cost, improves the stable operation level of the power grid, enhances the overall benefit. For equipment manufacturing enterprises, the wide application of general equipment on the one hand reduces the repetitive design and research and development of equipment manufacturers, reduces the types of parts, reduces the cost of equipment manufacturing and processing, and improves manufacturing efficiency; On the other hand, the advanced and applicable principles, the general equipment results proposed in this paper, have effectively promoted the technological progress of China's equipment manufacturing industry, promoted its continuous improvement of production conditions and inspection conditions, continuously improved the manufacturing level and quality, and provided high-quality, high-tech content and cost-effective products for the construction of power grid.
