There are some high-risk areas in coal mine ventilation system. However, due to the complexity of the roadway structure, the number of portion high-risk structure such as diagonal roadways is very large. But it is known from theoretical analysis and practice that only a small portion of them are dangerous. To identify and eliminate these risks, a method for identification of high-risk areas in ventilation based on VF2 isomorphism algorithm has been proposed. First, an attribute graph model is built to represent topology and attribute information of a ventilation area. Then, an automatic identify approach for high-risk area from ventilation graph is proposed based on VF2 algorithms. The validity and rationality of the method is demonstrated with the example of find spontaneous combustion risk areas in Huangling No.2 coal mine.
